Observer’s Handbook 2025

The Observer’s Handbook 2025 is now available. Published annually for over 100 years by the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, the Observer’s Handbook has become a must-have reference book for people interested in astronomy.

The society has also published a 2025 Observer’s Calendar. Created by RASC members, the Observer’s Calendar features a spectacular array of astro-images taken by amateur astronomers, with an informative caption accompanying every photograph.

Designed with the observer in mind, the calendar contains comprehensive astronomical data such as daily Moon rise and set times, significant lunar and planetary conjunctions, eclipses, and meteor showers.
