The Askar 52mm f/4 Guide Scope offers a robust and lightweight option for guiding finished in a black or silver coating with a slightly textured feel and offering a compact body, helical focuser and doublet objective lenses.
With an aperture of 52mm, a focal length of 208mm and a travel length of 25mm, the Askar 52mm f/4 Guide Scope weighs in at only 631g. And when needed, the scope’s doublet lens can also do double duty visually.
The 208mm focal length allows the guide scope to quickly capture photons and the helical focuser is a tested system for easy focal adjustments. Simply reach the desired focal point and stop the focuser with the integrated M3 locking screw hole. It’s also simple to attach a guide camera into the 1.25″ opening or attach it to the guide scope using the M42 threads, and with the Vixen style base, assembly is just as easy. In addition to the standard Vixen style base, the guide scope also has a 1/4 threaded hole and an M4 threaded hole on the base for easy attachment.
