A wrap up of the year of Sky-Watcher astronomy products in 2024 for will be the subject of the next Sky-Watcher Watcher What’s Up? Webcast.

Among the new products they will discuss is the recently introduced Sky-Watcher Heliostar 76 is a dedicated 76mm f/8.3 hydrogen-alpha (Hα) solar telescope designed to provide detailed views of the Sun’s dynamic chromosphere. By isolating the Hα wavelength at 656.3 nm, it allows observers to witness solar phenomena with exceptional clarity.

They will also talk about the Sky-Watcher Wave Strainwave Mount series which was introduced earlier this year and expands the company’s mount lineup with two new harmonic strainwave gear mounts – the Wave 100i Strainwave Mount and the Wave 150i Strainwave Mount. The unique design of the Wave mounts offers zero backlash and accurate GoTo. Functionality includes dual AZ/EQ tracking modes, integrated Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and 10 degrees per second slewing.

The Sky-Watcher What’s Up? Webcast is a live webcast held every Friday from 10am to 11am Pacific on the Sky-Watcher USA YouTube channel. Each week they discuss a new astronomical topic including gear, visual and imaging techniques, interviews and more.
