The Airy Disk Triplet 204mm f/7 Apo is the flagship telescope from Airy Disk and offers a relatively fast focal ratio of f/7 and a 50″ long (dew shield retracted) which makes it suitable for smaller observatories. Airy-Disk is a new astronomy products company that is producing a lineup of Apo Telescopes.
The telescope offers the functionality of an observatory scope and, at just 45 lbs. with its removable lens pack, it can be easily transported by one person. A tall tripod or pier extension is a must as its front heavy with the long tube.
The Airy Disk Triplet 204mm f/7 Apo offers a multi-coated triplet lens with H-FK61 ED element and a 4″ focuser which connects to the scope via a M134x1 (an M63x1 to 2″ adapter is also included). It is a great visual scope offering views that are sharp to the edge and superbright. Two removable back sections can accommodate a binoviewer.
