Founder Optics Draco 62 ED

The Founder Optics Draco 62 ED is a high quality, transportable and versatile telescope for both visual and photographic use. It offers a f/4.8 quintuplet refractor that can be reduced to a fast f/3.9 when utilizing the included 0.83X reducer.

Founder Optics Draco 62 EDThe telescope features a five-element air-space design using ED glass. It offers protection against water intrusion as it is nitrogen injected for an IP67 rating and offers a hydrophobic coating on the air surface of the lens. It comes with a 2″ rack & pinion dual speed 10:1 focuser.

The Founder Optics Draco 62 ED produces a full frame 44mm image circle for today’s larger sensors. The package also includes both an M48 and M54 adapter, a diagonal adapter (2″ to 1.25″) and a 1.25″ 90º dielectric diagonal.

It is extremely lightweight weighing just 2.4kg and 3.2kg including the tube ring, handle and dovetail plate. The tube ring’s ergonomic carry handle is fitted with a Vixen dovetail. On the bottom of the tube ring is a foot that attaches to a Vixen dovetail for connecting the scope to a mount or on top of a larger optical tube assembly.
