The Askar 2” Star Diagonal offers functionality when utilizing a Schmidt-Cassegrain, Maksutov-Cassegrain or refractor telescope providing the ability to view comfortably when a telescope is pointed at, or near, zenith.
The Askar 2” Star Diagonal uses a flat mirror with more than 1/8 wavelength and has undergone a dielectric coating process that enables it to reflect 99% of the gathered starlight, greatly enhancing the performance of the telescope.
The diagonal body is CNC machined, the interior of it is matte painted and the surface is oxidized with a glossy finish. The overall black color scheme and the integrated design make it beautiful, convenient, and practical.
The Askar 2” Star Diagonal has a 2″ refractor adapter and SCT adapter, which is compatible with a variety of telescopes, making it easy for users to expand and upgrade. In addition, it can also be connected to 1.25” or 2” eyepieces.
