Player One Phoenix Filter Wheels

The Player One Phoenix Filter Wheels are offered in four configurations: 8×1.25”, 7x36MM, 7×2″ and 7x50MM. They offer a super thin hybrid stepping motor which provides smooth rotation with almost no vibration when changing the filter position. They are manufactured to high tolerances using Aluminum 6061-T6.

Player One Phoenix Filter WheelsThe Player One Phoenix Filter Wheels utilize Hall Sensing Technology. As the Player one team notes, “Traditional infrared sensor scanning uses a positioning hole to locate position, this way positioning accuracy depends on the size of the positioning hole, the smaller the hole, the higher the accuracy, but the diameter of the hole must have at least 1mm diameter, otherwise it is difficult to manufacture. When using a magnet on filter plate through Hall Sensing Technology, the Hall sensor will detect the center of the magnet providing positioning accuracy that is better than with an infrared sensor.”
