The ZWO 7x50mm Square Filter Wheel is an electronic filter wheel that is designed to aid in switching between filters during imaging sessions to minimize handling and shaking of the imaging setup. It supports seven 50×50 mm square drop-in filters between 3-4 mm thick.
The ZWO Filter Wheel is CNC milled from an aircraft-graded aluminum block and utilizes step motors produced by NPM, Japan which offer very high precision and reliable performance. The filter wheel is lightweight weighing just one kilogram and can be rotated counterclockwise or clockwise to access a specific filter.
The ZWO 7x50mm Square Filter Wheel package includes the EFW body, a two-meter USB 2 right-angle cable to power the unit, a 0.5 meter USB 2 right-angle cable, a 2.0x75mm Phillips screwdriver, a set of darkening rings, ten 50×50 mm filter masks, twenty-six M2x4 screws, twelve M2.5×6 screws, and six M3x8 screws.
