New Founder Optics eyepieces are now available. These include the Alien eyepiece lineup with a 55-degree field of view and the Marvel eyepieces with a 80-degree field of view.
Alien Eyepieces
The Alien 1.25’’ eyepieces offer a high magnification designed for observing planets, the moon and deep sky use with a comfortable 20mm eye relief. The eyepieces are parfocal and offer low color aberration with sharp views. They are offered in 3mm, 5mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12.5mm and 14.5mm focal lengths. The fully multi-coated lens offer 7 elements in 4 groups. The eyepieces feature an aluminum design with rubber armor coatings.
Marvel Eyepieces
The Marvel eyepiece lineup offers a wide 80 degree apparent field of view with 20mm eye relief and field stop for more comfortable viewing experience. The Lanthanum lenses bring a bright, lower color aberration, sharp, clear and true image. The eyepieces offer 1.25’’ barrels for the 4mm/6mm/9mm versions with an 8 element in 5 group lens design. The 14mm/20mm versions offer 2’’ barrels with an 8 element in 6 group design. The eyepieces feature an aluminum design with rubber armor coatings.
