The new Founder Optics Bino Scope offers a fully multi-coated premium optics design in a patented built-in binoviewer. Offered in two configurations, the BOS80 and BOS72, the bino scopes offer Ohara S-FPL-53 Ed Lens with almost zero aberration and distortion to offer a sharp image.
The BOS80 features an 80mm objective lens with 500mm focal length at f/6.25 (with a 12.5mm eyepiece = 40x). The BOS72 has a 72mm objective lens with 432mm focal length at f/6 (with a 12.5mm eyepiece = 35x).
Each Founder Optics Bino Scope features unique linear slides (IPD) with an interpupillary distance from 58-74mm. Exchanging eyepieces to provide different magnifications is easy with locking collars for 1.25” eyepieces. Users can adjust the diopter focus ring until the image becomes clear and sharp.
The bino scopes feature 1/4” x 20 threaded holes to attach to photo tripods. Also included is a Vixen style dovetail plate to attach to an equatorial mount.
The included hard shell, durable carrying case includes heavy duty foam storage for the bino scope as well as space for up to 6 eyepieces.
