The Vernonscope 2″ Gold Coated Diagonal has been re-issued in honor of the James Webb Space Telescope.
The Gold-coated 1/20th Wave Quartz Star Diagonal is built around a quartz flat with reflective coating and a protective quartz overcoat. The gold coasting provides a warm cast, reduction of blue/violet, amazing contrast, and extremely sharp images
The mirrors are guaranteed to have interferometry results of at least 1/20th wave PV (Peak to Valley Measurement). Each quartz piece has a serial number and comes with an interferogram with the results of the surface testing for the quartz in your diagonal.
The 2″ diagonal will take 2″ eyepieces or 1.25″ with an adapter.
