Pegasus Astro LRGB Imaging Filter Set

The Pegasus Astro LRGB Imaging Filter Set offers 2-inch mounted deep space photographic broadband filters.

Pegasus Astro LRGB Imaging Filter SetThe Pegasus Astro LRGB Imaging Filter Set has been designed to allow maximum transmission for original, natural color imaging. The RGB color combine weights are 1:1:1. The high contrast Red, Green, and Blue filters are IR-blocked and are suitable for CMOS and CCD sensors. A gap between Green and Red filters blocks out the primary sodium light pollution line at 589nm and improves color balance and separation.

The Luminance UV/IR Cut filter is designed for ultraviolet and infrared wavelength blocking to improve sharpness of the image and reduce halos on lens optical systems. It can be used on CMOS and CCD cameras which do not have an IR protection filter toward an image sensor or were remodeled (DSLR, Mirrorless). This type of filter is required for unfiltered CCD and CMOS sensors as they are extremely susceptible to UV and IR rays just outside the visible spectrum which can have a negative impact on image quality.
