Dynamic Deep Sky has announced the upcoming release of their AR astronomy camera, Astroid multi.
According to the Dynamic Deep Sky team, ”Astroid multi is somewhat similar to your smartphone app where it overlays the camera image to the sky but it is done much more professionally in the Astroid software program with higher accuracy (<0.05 deg), live Milkyway capturing camera and multiple other features. This will be a perfect replacement for DSC, Polemaster, and Ocal. And it also could be an interesting alternative to the buyers who are considering ASIAIR for EAA purposes”
The company distributed the first 50 beta version units last year for testing. They will be announcing more specifications and details on the availability of the camera on their website. You can learn more about the Astroid multi AR astronomy camera here.
