nPAE has announced a new version of its Maia Accessory Adaptors including a T2 to 1.25″ adaptor and a 2’ version that feature 4 clamping points and a parfocal ring for precise adjustment.
The new adaptors are parfocal and provide the ability to reposition an accessory in the socket in two places on both X and Y axis. Additionally the parfocal ring gives you up to 5 mm of length adjustment along the Z-axis. Like all nPAE products the locks are made from 6061 aircraft grade aluminum and are finished in knurled red anodize with a rubber finger guard. Each offer 5.5mm / 0.22″ of additional Z-axis back focus adjustment on the parfocal ring.
The 2” version fits all 2″ Celestron and SkyWatcher male exit ports, plus any other 2″ male thread. For further adaptability there is an external M68 x 1 thread. The T2 to 1.25” adaptor fits any T2 male thread. There is also an external M48 x 1.5 thread.
