A quick release angle base for guide scopes is being offered by Lftscope, a new niche astronomy company. The patent pending QRAB (Quick Release Angle Base) is an accessory that splits into 2 separate plates, one to mount to the top of an imaging scope, the other to mount to the bottom of the guide scope.
The QRAB is designed to allow you to perfectly align a guide scope to the imaging scope thru a series of push pull knobs for lateral movement and up and down movement.
Made of aluminum and anodized in 2 colors. The QRAB Model 6 is offered in red and is a 3″ x 6″ long unit and the QRAB Model 8 is offered in blue and is a 3″ x 8″ long unit. These bases are designed to be ultralight and not impact the total payload of your equipment.
You can learn more about the QRAB quick release angle base for guide scopes by emailing Lftscope@yahoo.com for additional information. Prices are $375.00 for Model 6 and $450.00 for the Model 8.
