The Antlia Filter Drawer System offers an inexpensive and easy way for simple changing of astronomy imaging filters with convenient connectivity to cameras and telescopes. Due to the optical depth of 20mm, the filter system can be used with telescopes that have a high focal ratio.
The Antlia Filter Drawer System is composed of three parts, (1) the main filter body base with an optical depth of 20mm, (2) telescope adapter and (3) the camera adapter with the three parts connected and fixed by hexagon socket screws. All parts of the Antlia filter drawer system are made of aviation aluminum CNN.
The main filter body base can accommodate a 2-inch M48 0.75 thread which can be used with 2” mounted filters as well as a D50mm thread which can be used with round 50mm unmounted filters. The system offers a wide range of threads and screws which are used to connect the base and adapters.
Three filter holders allow you to use the Antlia Filter Drawer System with a smaller filter thread sizes meaning there is no need to buy a separate filter drawer or slider for new cameras or telescopes. These include:
– B-4836 filter holder mounted into B-2INCH slider that will directly fit the 36mm unmounted filter onto 2” filter drawer.
– B-4831 filter holder mounted into B-2INCH slider that will directly fit the 31mm unmounted filter onto 2” filter drawer.
– B-48125 filter holder mounted into B-2INCH slider that will directly fit the 1.25” mounted filter onto 2” filter drawer.
