The Orion 10×50 WA Binoculars (WA for Wide Angle) are an affordable set of binoculars for handy viewing of the night sky and distant landscapes, all for a very affordable price.
The reason these are called 10×50 WA is the wide angle field of view they produce. Most 10×50 binoculars have a 5 or 6 degree field, but these round out at a full 7 degree circular field of view. That means less panning around in search of your target, and larger star clusters or other deep-sky objects are framed quite nicely in the field of vision with some extra background sky around the objects for heightened contrast and composition.
These binoculars weigh just 1.7 lbs. offer a threaded tripod adapter port for those times when you want to attach the binoculars to a tripod for added stability. The Orion 10×50 WA binoculars include a soft carry case and lens caps.
