The nPAE Theia 90 Collimating Star Diagonal is a 1/10th wave star diagonal that is a combination star diagonal and filter changer, with a micro meter tip/tilt adjustable mirror.
The diagonal uses a 46mm minor axis mirror with 1/10th wave finish and each unit comes with an individual Zygo report so you can be sure of its quality. Using the 4 screws on the back the position of the mirror can be altered to help collimate your telescope.
The 2″ nose of the nPAE Theia 90 Collimating Star Diagonal can be unscrewed so you can attach the body directly to any M48 x 0.75 male thread focuser or exit port.
One of the things that makes this star diagonal unique is the built in Imaging Filter Changer which offers a magnetic alternative to changing your astro imaging filters. Simply load your imaging filters in advance into the quick change filter holders and you can rapidly swap from one to the other.
Using high power magnets to hold the imaging filters in place, you can meridian flip the telescope and not drop the imaging filters. When you want to change you simply pull the imaging filter out and replace it. It has a light baffled 2 inch nose and a 2 inch accessory socket, fixed by thumb screws, which is long enough to set accessories for the correct back focus position.
