B&D Astro Accessories is a new company offering astronomy accessories including counterweights and dovetails. The owners and operators, Larry Beatty and Mike Dennis, have been avid amateur astronomers for over 50 years and bought Robin Casady Astro Accessories to form the new company.
According to the Mike and Larry, “Robin’s highly regarded merchandise was manufactured by his Cousin’s machine shop, in Oklahoma City, just 3 blocks from Larry’s business, so they were able to keep the manufacturer and the detailed machine drawings, plus work with them to bring new products to our avocation.”
You may know Larry and Mike from their administration and work with the Okie-Tex Star Party and the Texas Star Party. They plan on rolling out new products in addition to the Casady product line in the future.
