Telescope Mirror Alignment Tool Kit

The new Telescope Mirror Alignment Tool Kit helps solve one of the issues for amateur telescope makers and telescope users – collimating their telescope.

Telescope Mirror Alignment A common solution is placing a dot or sticker in the center of the mirror to aid in the collimation. This requires a ruler to measure the location, which can be difficult and take time. The new Telescope Mirror Alignment Tool Kit provides the ability to precisely position the dot and sticker, quickly.

The kit fits most standard size telescope mirrors 4 to 16 inches in diameter. It has scales and viewing holes to position it to the outside edge of the mirror. Check its position in 3 places and place the dot or insert the sticker into the hole. It can also be used for placing a dot as an aid for testing during polishing. The kit is laser cut from 3mm thick Baltic Birch wood and has easy to follow instructions.
