Avalon Instruments is now offering an adapter kit that provides the ability to attach an iOptron iPolar e-Polarscope to Avalon M-uno and M-zero mounts, including Avalon’s new M-zero telescope mount specifically designed for use in low latitude areas down to 0 degrees.
The popular iOptron iPolar is a highly precise and easy-to-use electronic polar scope. And now owners of Avalon M-uno and M-zero mounts can take advantage of this time saving device.
The new adapter kit can be easily assembled on the mount’s lateral bracket by simply screwing the two screws on the M-zero/M-uno lateral bracket threaded holes. The iPolar is fixed on the aluminum adapter ring by a plastic screw to avoid scratching the iPolar surface.
The adapter kit comes with the adapter, 1 plastic screw to fix the iPolar into the aluminum adapter ring and 2 stainless screws to fix the adapter on the M-uno/M-zero lateral bracket.
